Muğla Metropolitan Municipality President Ahmet Aras met with the Governing Mayor and Senator of Berlin, Kai Wegner, during his visit to Germany.

In a post on his social media account, President Aras stated:

“During my meeting with the Governing Mayor and Senator of Berlin, Kai Wegner, we exchanged views on increasing cooperation between our cities.

Meeting with a global metropolis like Berlin, which ranks among the most important cities in the European Union, will be a significant step not only for the present but also for the future of our province.

On this visit, we emphasized once again the strong economic and cultural potential of Muğla. We are excited about the joint steps we will take with Berlin in various areas such as diversifying tourism, smart city applications, renewable energy, and cultural collaborations.”
