An event was held at the Berlin City Hall by the Turkish-German Sister Cities Association (DTSV) to mark the 35th anniversary of the sister city agreement between Berlin and Istanbul.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Ahmet Aras attended the Berlin Sister Municipalities Meeting hosted by the Turkish-German Sister Cities Association.

Mayor Mr. Aras included the following statements in his social media post:

“During my visit to Berlin for the Turkish-German Sister Cities Conference, I had the opportunity to evaluate and share Muğla’s tourism capacity, natural beauties, historical heritage, and economic potential at the Turkish-German Employers’ Association. We emphasized the opportunities for cooperation in areas such as tourism, agriculture, renewable energy, and industrial development.

 I would like to thank Mr. Özcan Mutlu, the President of the Turkish-German Sister Cities Association, and Mr. Remzi Kaplan, the President of the Turkish-German Employers’ Association, for organizing this meaningful event. As Muğla, we continue our efforts to develop collaborations in innovative projects and connect our province’s economic and commercial potential with the German business world.”
