Muğla Takes Its Place on the Global Tourism Stage at ATM Dubai

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality participated in Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2025, one of the most important meeting points of the tourism world, which was held at the Dubai World Trade Center this year.

Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2025, held this year from April 28 to May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Center, has been organized for over 30 years as the leading tourism fair in the Middle East. This event brings together thousands of tourism professionals from the Middle East in particular, as well as from Asia, Australia, the Americas, and Europe. With around 3,000 participants, the fair continues to be one of the most prestigious platforms shaping the tourism market in the region.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has also attended ATM Dubai Fair. At the “Muğla” stand set up under the umbrella of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), the province’s rich cultural heritage, unique historical texture, and world-renowned tourist destinations were promoted to international industry representatives.

The Aim is to Extend Tourism Activity throughout the Entire Year

By participating in international fairs, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to increase Muğla’s recognition not only in its current markets but also in new ones, particularly in the Middle East, as well as in Asia and the Americas. Thus, the goal is to increase tourism diversity across the province, ensure tourism activity extends over a longer period throughout the year, and contribute more to the economy through new collaborations.

Muğla’s historical cities, natural beauties, gastronomy, and cultural riches were showcased to professional visitors at the ATM Dubai Fair. The ATM Dubai Fair ended on Thursday evening, May 1.

Mayor Aras: “We Will Bring Muğla Together with Tourism for 12 Months”

In his evaluation of the fair, Ahmet Aras, the President of the Aegean Coastal Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality stated, “We continue our efforts to make Muğla’s unique natural beauties, historical, and cultural values more visible worldwide. International fairs like ATM Dubai offer great opportunities for increasing the diversity of Muğla’s tourism, opening up new markets, and creating tourism activity that spans 12 months of the year.”

He added that “Our goal is not to rely solely on summer tourism, but to make Muğla a strong destination in various fields such as health, culture, sports, and gastronomy. In this direction, we will continue to work with all our strength to promote our province and increase its international recognition.”
