Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, MedCities\u2014a global network of metropolitan cities\u2014has been drawing attention for 30 years with its work on cooperation and knowledge sharing among major cities around the world.<\/p>\n<p>During the MedCities General Assembly and its side events held in Barcelona, mayors, policymakers, academics, and civil society representatives from across the Mediterranean came together. Emphasising the importance of regional collaboration built on a shared sea and shared hopes, President Aras said: \u201cJust as the Barcelona Process, with its 30 years of experience, provides a common vision for intercity cooperation; it also serves as an important source of motivation for Turkish cities. The MedCities General Assembly we attended is a platform that will strengthen Mu\u011fla\u2019s participation in international projects. For this reason, representing and showcasing Mu\u011fla at such an influential assembly is highly valuable.
